Boating

MOORING/STORAGE


1.

Mooring sales begin Saturday, March 8th.  Permits can be purchased during regular office hours beginning Monday March 10th.  Call the park office for additional information. (570) 325-3669

2.

Park Office opens at 8:30 A.M. for registration.

3.

Mailed applications will be processed starting Monday, March 10th and will be subject to availability.

4.

Check rate sheet for current fee.

5.

All boats must have a PA registration number (or temporary number) before placing it on the mooring spot. Applicants can register their boats at marinas or some county offices.


 

Boat Launch A

 

 Spots 1 - 18 (pipe) located between dock and boat rental building

 

 Spots 125 - 154 (wood) located east of dock

 

Boat Launch B

 

 Spots 19 - 78 (wood) located east of dock

 

 Spots 79 - 100 (pipe) and 101 - 124 (wood) located west of dock



Mooring is available until December 1st.  Boats will be placed into storage by December 1st.

BOAT STORAGE

WINTER - December 1st - April 1st          SUMMER - April 1st - December 1st

Applications for winter boat storage will be accepted until NOVEMBER 10TH NO applications will be accepted after NOVEMBER 10th.  If you are planning on storing your boat please keep in mind that applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.  Boats will be put in storage by NOVEMBER 15TH.  Please have oars, seats, etc. removed from boat if you are storing with the park.  The number of boats stored for the winter will be limited

Launching Permits available at Park Office for non-powered boats that are not registered with the PA Fish & Boat Commission for a cost of $10.00 for one (1) year. Please make check or money order payable to PA Fish & Boat Commission.  Your boat must be registered with the PA Fish & Boat Commission in order to rent a mooring site.
